I'm so glad you're here.

Finding the right therapist is a big decision and I know how vulnerable it can feel to begin the search. My hope is that this page gives you a better sense of who I am, how I work and whether we'd be a good fit.

Like everyone else, I've experienced challenges that have shaped who I am. Those experiences, combined with more than a decade of working alongside teens, young adults, women, and families, continue to shape the therapist I am today. My greatest joy is helping people make sense of themselves, discover strengths they didn't realize they had, and build lives that feel more authentic and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me…

I'll listen carefully and read between the lines.

I'll help you untangle confusing thoughts and emotions.

I'll be honest, direct, and compassionate.

I'll celebrate your wins and gently challenge the patterns that keep you stuck.

I'll never expect you to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.

Life is full of unique challenges that can be even tougher when it feels like no one understands or relates.  The good news is that it doesn’t have to stay that way.  The most powerful thing I have learned over the years is how innately resilient humans are. I am passionate about helping others discover their inner strengths and recognize that they are so capable of overcoming the struggles that have been holding them back. My primary goal in counseling is to create a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely, in your time, and on your terms. I listen carefully and read between the lines, helping my clients to figure out what is really going on and helping them forge their own, unique path forward. I am committed to facilitating positive change.

More about my training & experience…

I am licensed to practice in three states: Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (New Hampshire), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (Maine), and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (New York).

My approach integrates evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR-informed techniques, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. Rather than relying on a single method, I tailor therapy to your unique goals, personality, and needs.

Before opening Rooted Resilience, I spent more than a decade working in intensive outpatient, residential treatment, wilderness therapy, and therapeutic boarding school settings. Those experiences gave me the opportunity to support individuals and families through some of life's most challenging moments and continue to shape the way I practice today.

Meet Mazie

Mazie is a Mini Golden Mountain Doodle, affectionately known as an "Oopsy-Doodle" due to her unintentional origin. With a personality as fluffy and fun as her curly coat, Mazie has a unique talent in brightening up the day for all she meets.

When she's not curled up beside me during sessions, Mazie can usually be found chasing her soccer ball, soaking up the sunshine, or trying to convince everyone she's a lap dog.

Start living and enjoying the balanced, healthy life you want.
